Board meetings are held usually on the second Tuesday of the month. All IWCU members are welcome to attend. Please notify the Secretary in advance.

Pub Nights are a great opportunity to have a drink or a chat, to make new contacts and meet friends in a relaxed setting. Consumptions are paid directly by attendees. Feel free to bring your partner or some friends also outside the IWCU. The bigger the group the more fun!

Coffee events in members homes are a wonderful way to get to know other IWCU members in a relaxed social environment. If you want to bring along some homemade delights, they would be very welcome, although not compulsory.

Our Café Mornings take place at the Mayflower tearoom on the last Friday morning of the month. Café mornings are always open for prospective members and are a great, low-stress way for them to come meet and chat with members. Come find us - listen for English.

Our Café Mornings take place at La Colina on the first Wednesday after the 19th of the month. Café mornings are always open for prospective members and are a great, low-stress way for them to come meet and chat with members. Come find us - listen for English.

Our Café Mornings take place in the 4th Floor La Place Restaurant of the Vroom & Dreesman (V&D) department store in Utrecht on the last Thursday morning of the month. Café mornings are always open for prospective members and are a great, low-stress way for them to come meet and chat with members. Find us in the sunlit room right at the back (near the bathrooms) - listen for English. There’s a large table in the centre where we usually congregate.

Wear good, comfortable walking shoes and bring waterproofs. If the weather is too bad we will postpone, so please give a contact number (preferably mobile). Bring a packed lunch and a drink.

Mums and Tots events are open to all IWCU members, whether you have tots or not. These informal playgroups provide fun ways to meet other IWCU members, plus the children get to spend fun time with English-speaking playmates. If you have pre-school-age kids, are expecting a baby, are thinking of starting a family, or you just feel like holding someone else's kids for a while, come along to one of these lively mornings or afternoons to pick up some useful advice and also have a great time and a good chat.

This is an informal get-together for both beginners and advanced seamstresses, quilters, knitters, embroiderers or any general crafters. The idea is to pool our knowledge and help each other. Bring along your current project. Let's get sewing.

Join us for an always fun and tasty themed dinner!

Come and get inspired with us for an evening of arts and crafts, bringing the latest project you are working on with your own materials, be it painting, card making, mosaics, knitting, sewing, glass painting, drawing, watercolour painting, bead work, macramé, jewellery makng - whatever you enjoy. Beginners, advanced - all welcome.

The Small Business Club (SBC) is a support group to all IWCU members who either have a small business, are thinking of starting one or those who just enjoy the exchange of creative energy and tips concerning projects they are working on.

We all bring nice, clean, presentable clothes that are lurking unloved in our wardrobe, and other girls fall in love with them and give them a good home.

New in 2017, the writers group, coordinated by Jenny Nunn.

Writing is a traditionally solitary activity, but there are many ways that writers can get together to support and inspire each other.
